Default CV-1 Steel shaft system bases are back in stock!

CV-1 steel shaft bases are back in stock after previous mch shop owner retired.
roland racing recommends these for all high effort combos. street combos can use proven guide plates and roller rockers setup w/ no issues- like hooter and kelvin poe that finished 1000 mile dragweek.
to date, there have been NO ISSUES with cv-1's in race apps when using the shown steel base rocker system....

Apology for recommending cv-1's to a guy that already had cv-1's?

From Facebook back in June... "Roland Racing is putting on a CV-1 top end cylinder head package sale, which includes a complete pair of as cast CV-1.1 heads, single 4 manifold, cast valve covers and also includes custom piston pocket machining all for only $3995 !!!!! Please contact Roland at #417-209-7395 and check out the website for more information www.rolandracing.com "

From February base cv1.1 head flow... From Bill btw.
Ok guys, I FINALLY had time to flow test the new as cast CV-1.1 head which the chamber as cast is sized for a 4.150 bore out of the box with a 277cc intake port, and 2.150/1.725 valve sizes, many have asked for this information and here it is
(Intake)
.100-79
.200-156
.300-224
.400-273
.500-324
.600-356
.700-355
.800-355
.900-356
1.00-358

(Exhaust)
.100-66
.200-125
.300-153
.400-191
.500-225
.600-244
.700-256
.800-260
.900-267
1.00-258...should be 268

Very good numbers for the valve size and intened 4.15 bore.
Plenty of cnc options for bigger ports and valves and flows over 450

I doubt you're buying . But figured I'd post up some info. More details contact Jim or Bill

Still no prices on the supports. How much do they add to the length of the pushrod ?
Good numbers for the bore size. Back when they first came out the talk was they were supposed to be good on 400s and 428s but I have not heard of too many builds on the smaller stuff.

Not quite certain but CNC chamber for 4.35 bore and adding a 2.19 valve bumps it to 384 iirc.
Here's a port he developed using a 2.25 valve flowed on 4.155 bore and 4.35 bore
Well guys, i've had this particular port in storage for quite sometime now (about 5yrs) as i could only use it in the new CV-1.1 castings, and porters castings at that, but i'm happy to say there is a customer that has asked me to CNC his porters castings with this intake port & the convertible exhaust ... i need to volume check the CNC'd version as it took a little work to fit everything just right so i expect it to shrink a little, but for now it's been nicknamed the "High Port" ... It is a standard pushrod location port, meaning no offset is required to run it, and it's based on a 2.250 valve and moves pretty good air for it's size, this port should prove to be a very versatile option for many applications, i hope you enjoy the pics ...

(4.155 bore) (4.350 bore)

.100 - 83.2 .100 - 79.5
.200 - 151.8 .200 - 151.4
.300 - 228.2 .300 - 234.4
.400 - 291.1 .400 - 296.1
.500 - 344.6 .500 - 356.2
.600 - 389.3 .600 - 407.7
.700 - 412.1 .700 - 429.7
.800 - 419.2 .800 - 447.9
.900 - 437.5 .900 - 454.1
There are plenty of other choices and combinations including bigger valve and chamber options. Much higher flowing as well , already developed and ready for CNC.
Best to talk with Jim or Bill for what best suits your needs. Or other questions concerns like the rocker stands.( Not needed if using non shaft rockers.) .

The truth will set you free. If you are trying to sell a product simple prices and facts would be a good thing, no ?

Those questions best answered by Jim or Bill. You don't need them if you don't use shaft rockers.

Even at 350 cfm a 400 to 428 will need some rpm to make full use of that capability. Nice number for motors like your existing combo.

I look at this differently. The push rod length will be determent by the valve length used and the support will be milled or shimmed to put the rocker arm where it needs to be to work with that valve and push rod lengths.

I could be wrong but i don't think they're looking to sell them to you and we all know you're not interested in buying them.

I do not know the exact rules of this forum. But most forums do not want people posting prices in them. They want the for sell or PM to be used for that.

brad,
yes- my design is cut from single piece of steel to hold 4 rockers. T&D design uses individual stands for each rocker arm.
isnt your engine the 700hp pump gas 455 that BES built a while back?
jim

ps. anyone wanting prices should check the website.... geez
