So.....the crazy thing is I have 2 that are the crossed out 1099 and stamped with a 1094 exactly as the one shown here.
Also have an 8097 that is crossed out and stamped 1099...
My understanding is the "Restamped" 1099 was 69 and by the time 70 came along it was a straight 1099 stamping only...

1099?

9098 was 1970-automatic (including YZ); except RAIV
0097 was 1970-manual (including WS); except RAIV

Quite likely one of few '70 Muncie three speed Formula 400's left.


1991 Grand Am: 14.4 @ 93.7mph (DA corrected) (retired DD, stock appearing)
2009 Cobalt SS: 13.9 @ 103mph (current DD; makes something north of 300hp & 350ft/lbs)
