I'm told that the 1st quality one's are not yet available (I'm told they will start to become available later this summer) but there are a limited number of 2nd quality dash inserts available.
You can call in or email PY your information:
1. Year of car,
2. A/C?,
3. Power options?,
4. Location of firebird emblem (1/2" or 3-1/2") from the edge.)

And we can check to see if there is a 2nd quality insert available for your car.
Apparently inserts are being made for 1970-81 and we are projecting the 1st quality inserts to cost $350.

$350! Ouch!! Sorry... just a little sticker shock. I guess that's not too bad considering restored dash bezels are selling on eBay for around $300 (+/-).

Will there be gold tinted bezels for the SE models?? Please say yes!

I'm by no means a rich person, but I'd pay $350 for a high quality piece!

For years TA owners begged all the suppliers to reproduce this very prominent part of the interior. The reason why it never did get reproduced is because it is very complicated and there are some 30 odd differences between all the years. Therefore making it a very expensive project. Also, TA's values weren't high enough to justify. Now they are. Now people have a choice to put up with the original one on the car or spend the money and get a new one.

Just out of curiousity I wonder why these are so difficult to make? NOt picking on the manufacturers here. Just wondering considering these things were first made over 30 years ago with less technology and probably inferior equipment. Isn't anybody still alive from the days when these were produced to give insight?

Because 30 years ago the tooling was made to produce 50,000-100,000 of these dashes. Now they are trying to make tooling to produce about 1000-2000(lifetime supply) for a reasonable price.
