65 B body information
Lower control arm information. Please note that the final solution to the 65 lower control arms was to make the 66-70 arms the replacements for 1965 cars.

That is the 1st time I have ever seen documentation regarding a 2+2 pinstripe. People have been questioning me on this for years!
Thanks for a LOT of good info!!! Can you fax me these bulletins if I send you my fax #??

Great info Jayhawk, never knew about the rear control arms, I'm about to remove mine to install new bushings, I'll look for those numbers.

Awesome information, thanks. I know my front lower control arms did NOT have the reinforcement bracket, but not sure of the rears. Never noticed any numbers on them when they were sandblasted, but didn't know to look either.

"Fix" for rear main oil leaks....
In one of the Service Bulletins, there is a reference to the Dealers about "curing" rear main oil leaks.
I've seen this once before. Maybe you ,Jayhawk has a copy of it?? From memory, it basically says that if a customers car comes in for service and it is demonstrating the rear main is starting to leak, the answer is to remove the cover plate, weld up the drain hole and drill another hole a few inches further up!!!! That's always amused me. Can you imagine that sort of dealer service bulletin being sent out today??? Not likely..... Ian
