Today I found a 77 Lemans Station Wagon that I was told it was a California Highway Patrol "Special Order". Car has a 403 Olds motor in it. I have not ordered PHS yet but I will. Any information appreciated. I found a Oklahoma Police Car several years ago that was a 77 Lemans four door but I have never heard or seen a wagon. .

it's very possible it's a transport vehicle.
at least around here wagons were /are used for prisoner transport.

it's also possible the drivetrain is not p/i if used for this purpose.

Thanks for the info. But I have to wonder how many had a 403 Oldsmobile engine and a police package. - Dwight

if i'm not mistaken, the 403 and 305 chevy were the v-8 options in a cal car. there's probably more of them built than you think.
