Default 1970-81 Trans Am Aluminum Dash Insert?

Now that daylight savings time is here again I was just wondering what happened to the 1970-81 Trans Am Aluminum Dash Insert due out "this summer?"

V/R,
Ty

I saw a sample and it looked pretty nice. There were a few little glitches to be dealt with. I should be able to get a better time frame soon. I'll post.

Now that the 20th century has come to an end and long gone, I wonder where the Trans Am dash pad is that everyone has had in their catalogs for YEARS!

Chris:

Any update on these that can be shared? What years would be covered. There are about five different variations of these just in the engine turned variety.

Please advise.

This project is temporarily on hold due to quality issues. The manufacturer got some in and said the quality and fit was just not good enough. They are trying to correct these issues but it still may be a little while yet until these are done.

Thumbs up

These would greatly be appreciated by the 2nd Gen T/A hobbyist like myself. This is such an essential piece of the car it's good to know that someone is taking the time to make them look good. I will take one without the RTS badge for my 74 T/A and one for my 78.

Keep the 2nd Gen stuff coming!
