Default NEW PY GTO, TEMPEST & LEMANS Catalog

Hey Everyone
After many late (and some sleepless) nights, the NEW GTO, Tempest & Lemans Catalog (Volume 11A) is finished and in the hands of the printer. This catalog has been months in the making and is a big upgrade for PY. We hope you like what we've done.

This catalog features:

FULL COLOR on every page
1400+ PICTURES
EXTENDED PRODUCT DETAILS on most of the parts
NEW PRODUCTS
MORE PAGES, to hold all the extra parts, pictures & product details

The printed catalogs will first be available at the GTOAA Nationals at the end of this month. The next week we will be mailing out shiny new catalogs to anyone who requests one (Click here to request a catalog).

If you can't wait until the end of the month, you can also CLICK HERE to download the new catalog in PDF format.

I hope everyone enjoys it.

Now it's time I get a full night's sleep before I start giving the same treatment to the Firebird & Trans Am Catalog.

Steve

Question Where's my catalog?

I've filled out my info twice in the last couple of months and still nothing.

Guess I'll try again.

Great catalog as usual, but may I make a suggestion?

Current downloadable size = 26.8 MB
Size after going to the File Menu - Reduce File Size = 23.0 MB
Current version, converted to .zip file with WinZip = 17.2 MB
Reduced version, converted to .zip file with WinZip = 13.3 MB

Offering a .zip version would reduce download times and free up resources on your web server.

Default International Catalog mailings

Hi Everyone
I just wanted to make a note about catalog mailings outside the US.
We are more than happy to mail catalogs to anyone outside the US that requests them but because we can not send the catalogs via USPS Bulk Mail, the price of shipping is much more costly. It is because of this reason that we don't mail catalogs internationally for free. If you are an international Pontiac owner and would like one of our catalogs, you have several options:

1. If you are able to visit a Show that we are attending, you can stop by our show spaces and pickup a catalog.
2. If you have a part (or parts) you would like to order, place the order with us and request a catalog get added to your shipment. It won't cost you an extra dime.
3. If neither of the first two options work for you, you can always Call (215-712-7400), Email or Fax (215-712-9968) us your mailing and payment info. We'll mail you out a catalog and charge you the shipping cost.

Thanks
Steve

You aren't alone. I filled out the required info on 6-07-07, the night this topic was posted.
Still haven't seen mine.

Are US residents that have purchased from PY going to get a hard copy catalog in the mail automatically ?

Hi
Unfortunately no, we don't have a list of customers that automatically get mailed a catalog when a new one comes out. Because many of our customers' cars get sold, completed, totaled or just aren't being restored at the moment, it becomes too expensive to print and send catalogs to hundreds of thousands of customers we've sold to over the years, who may not need a catalog.
So unfortunately we are only sending catalogs to people that request them.

If you'd like a new catalog, you should be able to fill out the form I've linked in my first post to get your name added to our next mailing.

If you have already filled out the form and are still waiting for a catalog, you are welcome to email or PM me your mailing address and I can chack to make sure it was included on one of the two mailings we've already sent out.

FYI, we send these catalogs via USPS bulk mail to keep the costs reasonable but it's not the speediest service around. We've already sent out a couple thousand of these new GTO catalogs in two shipments. Requests made before July 3rd were sent out on July 9th and we expect they have reached their destinations by now. Requests made before July 13th were sent out on July 17th and may still be on their way.

What about my 73 Lemans? There's hardly anything in it for me....Good thing I'm not trying to "restore" my car.

It's a great mag for the older cars though! Congrats. Too bad I don't have a use for it.

I have also spent big bucks with PY in the past few months and was very surprised a catalog was not thrown in. How about it?
