Default Anyone wants a 95 Buick?

I have a 1995 Buick LaSabre in excellent condition. Needs a tranny, still runs but have to be shifted. The car is in excellent shape, interior is super clean (leather), exterior is in good shape, no rust, paint is shinny, a few scratches. I would hate to give it to the junkman, the first 500 bucks will take it. The car is in the Newburgh/New Paltz New York area.

Do give it to the junkman, I would put it on craigslist, the ads are free.

Not sure what is wrong with the tranny, you can not start off in Drive, only in first gear, but if you shift it thru the gears you can get up to 55 mph and it runs great. Everything else works.
It has 150K on it, engine runs good, smooth and quiet. You can't kill those 3.8L V6.

Where do you live?

WE gots such a 95 Buick. GReat cars long as the engine doesn't spontaneously stall, and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall

and

and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall.

Mostly it runs real well on the trip out to some place. On the way back it will stall, and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall, and stall. Always gets me home.

Great starters those Buicks.

Drop the pan, change the filter, replace the fluid and add a can of trans medic or something like it.

Did that 10K miles ago

Anyway the scrap yard will give around $300 for the car, but I am still holding out, would rather see someone fix it and use it.
