Default '69-'72 Grand Prix full quarters & patch panels

Would be nice to see '69-'70 Grand Prix full quarters & patch panels. Or q-panel skins. as many GP's that were made, q-panels are hard to find.

Default GP quarter & patch update

Hi Guys. We are planning to come out with GP fender patch panels for the 69-72 GP's soon. I have verified that the patches are the same for all 4 years. I have samples of quarters for the 69-70's, but not for the 71-72's. Infront of the wheel well is the same for 69-72, but not for the rear section. I'm looking for a good section of the 71-72 quarters, but it's hard to cut up a good car with good quarters... I have fender patch samples ready to go. I'm planning to send these to my mfg in the summer. I doubt we will come out with complete skins ir full quarters, but you never know... We have to see how well we do with the GP catalog. The mfg that is going to do the fender patches asked me to send a whole fender, so we'll see... Check out page 48 in the GP catalog for fender patches and pg 54 for quarter patches.

I have a laundry list of stuff to be produced, but I can't jump in with both feet, if you know what I mean...

Here's the latest... The quarters are a project for me in 2011. I have a passenger side 69-70 quarter ready to go, but I'm working on a set of 69-70 NOS quarters to possibly be cut up. I'm just having a hard time deciding if I want to have them cut them up or not. I have two people with 71-72 quarters available, so that will not be a problem. Fender patches have been submitted and now waiting for samples to come in so they can be approved. Mike S - PY

Let's not put the horse before the cart... let's see how the patch panels sell first. I did give them a fender to do also, whether they do it or not... we'll see....

Here's the deal. Most G/P's were vinyl top cars. All of those are rotted under the top near the rivets. for the trim.

That's why the quarters are sorely needed.

I completely agree. A QUALITY full quarter should be top priority.

I do agree. My 71 is a non vinyl roof car and is good around rear window. But i do need a patch drivers lower quarter and half wheel well.

From the new catalog ? If so then need to get the new one because the one i have just shows a RPT47L&R inner wheelhouse patch panel , is that the ones ? This is the first GP catalog i have .
