Didn't realize he had run for POTUS three times.
I might of voted for him in '08 if I knew about it (seeing how Obammy was gonna win it anyway).

Enjoyed those Billy Jack movies. Never realised he had such a varied career. RIP.

I as about 10 years old when I first saw this movie and Toms action parts inspired me to get into physical fitness even to this day.

I still have a long lingering unanswered question though...why do all of the youths stand and raise a fist as Billy is bring hauled off in the car down the road?

In the movie, not sure how far in, the school is putting on a play about Jesus, I believe, and at the end of the play they show a sign to welcome or honor the king and they raise their fist in the air. That is why all the kids do it at the end of the movie when Billy is getting hauled away by the police.

It has been a while since I have seen the movie, but I am pretty sure that beginning play explains the ending scene.
