Just sharing a 70 firebird vin out here in NV Thought it was cool

This would be a 12 C - D car. One near me is a little lower, and it's 12 C. Yup made in 1969..
On the firewall on this car above, the " hidden" vin starts with a "9" .. Gasp.. yes it does.

A car with that VIN was listed on eBay in 12/2019. It was a 12C dated build, 26 with 201 and M38.

I did go and see this car today. What a waste of time. Every panel had rust thru or dents. Floors, trunk gone as well. He is asking 7500 for it.

Have seen about 20 now with Vin near blower motor. I will say I have only looked at cars pre May 1970.. but still its significant

By your location I assume all 20 were Norwood builds?

I do believe all were Norwood built.
On cars with 2 " hidden VIN'S ( AC cars) I notice the outter most vin ( around blower motor) almost always has a 9 vs a " Zero" , but sometimes the Vin by the Ac box was just missing the first digit completely.
