Default discovered something

discovered this a couple of weeks go but thought nothing of it, my cooling system does not run into othe heater core, it goes directly from the rear of the cylinder head the pump, does this affect the flow or temp of the water?

also i was wondering where i could buy the nipple for the right cylinder head so that i can have the T back there. Also how do i take out the fitting?
