Default GP nose filler, very disappointing....

So I ordered my first few items I was looking for on a 69 GP I picked up this last Sept. One part was the black filler piece for my 69 GP. B5010 - 69-70 GRAND PRIX FRONT BUMPER FILLER
When I got it I have to say I was pretty disapointed. IT was anything but flat (very wavy) and the huge mold nipple in the middle looks like hell. Why would you sell something that is this far off from the original? It did not go on the car, and since the holidays rolled around I am gonna guess I am past the return date and out 50 bucks? I did find a better one that I will be using. Just thought I would mention this as this did say post my satisfaction or comments (good or bad) and in this case I am pretty disappointed. For $50.00 this is VERY poor.

Hi ScootinGP. All the original nose cone fillers were wavy like the one in repro. We used a perfect original one I had in my personal stock. The only thing that is different is the injection points which are ontop instead of underneath. We could not do anything with that because when the mfg designed the mold, he didn't know which was was up. If you would like to return this, please give us a call and we'll be happy to refund your money back. Thanks... GP Mike

Understand. Thanks for the reply Mike. I normally don't bark much on pepop parts unless they are way off. I know it is hit or miss. Was there no communication on the mold maker to let them know top from bottom? I was not aware all were wavy. I was told they were from heat over time and were not like that from the factory, But I am new to GP's so I do not know...
