Rear sholder belts for a convertible?
Perhaps a shot in the dark:
My convertible obviously has lap belts, which makes for a less than ideal mounting system for my kid's carseats. Is there a way to add rear shoulder belts to the car without being conspicuous? Aftermarket is fine, I just don't want a set of 5 point harnesses. I'm looking for something stock appearing.

Rear conv shoulder belts were available and bolt to the conv mechanism....you can easily use the stock rear buckle belt and mount it to the conv mechanism.

Is there anyone out there that would happen to have a few pics of this?

Nothing elaborate...just bolts thru a hole in the mechanism and the belt rests over the mechanism cover.

Thanks George, I finally had time to do a thorough search and I found a bunch of good threads on it.
Now I just need to stalk eBay for the buckles and hardware and then have a seatbelt shop make them up.
