Didn't see this posted elsewhere. Thought it was a cool article.

Bangshift does a great job on cars like this. They absolutely LOVE unique and cool builds like this that run and accomplish something. Great car and great effort. Some have complained on here that this forum is all drag racing. Lets keep stuff like this Bonneville racer, Roger Bollinger, other road racers and Pontiac boats featured when possible.

This car is pretty amazing and is a lot of fun to watch at the dragstrip.

A bunch of us in the Seattle area have headed up north to Mission Raceways in BC Canada on a few occassions to meet up with SD Performance & hit the Old Tyme Drags, a perennial favorite event for all in the pacific northwest.

I remember pitting near Roger with a bunch of other Pontiacs at this event more than once & watching his wicked blown 4-banger go down the track running 8 sec ETs. It might have been the loudest car for the whole day, this blown 4-cylinder Jeep-ish Pontiac combo with zoomies is incredibly loud & bad to the bone.

So cool to see it go to Bonneville & almost 200 MPH, Super cool. Pontiac power

Kudos to Roger and Marlene. They are great friends of mine.I think Bangshift needs to come to Pa. and I will show them another 4-71 alum headed, blown alcohol 4 cyl Pontiac. that still races sand and dirt drags. Roger's isn't the only one, there is one in Ohio too. And yes, they are Very loud. Thanks Rusty

I had planned to go to Tiger Run this weekend but that changed when I talked with Roger and Marlene a few days ago. They are going to at Mission this Friday for a test and tune. I hope to get some video, and will post it here and send it to the BS guys. On a side note I talked Roger into giving me that block he windowed for a coffee table.

Like Rusty said, Blown 4cyls to the front!!!

Yes the video sucks, had to use my old mini 8. The go-pro was a no go?

Thanks for the article. Always happy to see a salt racer do well in his class.
