Default 69 Firebird build date

Can someone help me out. Looking for the build date on my 69 bird trim tag. Is it the 11-D?
And if so how do you decode the day month and year.
Thanks for any help or insight.
Jim

The model year is the first two digits in the top line. The 11 indicates 11th month (November). D indicates, 4th week of the month. (First week is A, second is B and so on up to E as the 5th week). This trim tag shows a 1969 model, built the 4th week of November, 1968. Hope this helps.

That would be the week the body shell was built. The precise date of final assembly will be on the billing card or invoice that you'd get from PHS.

The three boxes from left to right are "date shipped" "date of note" and "date of production". So your car was built Feb 14, 1969 and shipped the same day.

Goldenrod Yellow with Black Cordova top sounds like a cool Firebird.

New car to you?

Absolutely debating between a formula or wood wheel.
