Thumbs up New OER 70-81 Dash, just got one.

I ordered a new OER dash for a '79 W72 car I'm building for a customer. Got it Monday and just what I've seen upon initial inspection, it's really nice. I'll probably order one for my '78 in the near future. I need to finish the car up and dye it before installation. I hope it fits as well as it looks.

So when did you order it? Heard they have a 6 month+ lag now.

Firebird central had 4 listed on eBay. I bought it on a Thursday and ups dropped it off the following Monday. With shipping it was $520

I'll take some pictures of it in the morning. I'm trying to not handle it too much. I don't want to damage it.

Are you aware that it's for 77 and older, so the original 78-81 radios won't fit the radio hole? And the space between the radio hole and the ashtray hole is thinner than a 78-81. I mention it in case originality is important for those with 78-81's.
