Default Barrett-Jackson 1967 GTO

Beautiful original post car with only 20,000 miles...no power steering/brakes didn't keep it from breaking the bank...$75,000!

Wasn't it gorgeous.....original owner who bought it when he was 18! Wish we could all have that vision when we were 18!

Absolutely beautiful car Reminds me of a 67 that was out in Washington State, saw it on collectorcar .com loved that car, could not afford at that time 2001 Same color(turquoise) but it was a auto. I still to this day think about that car.

Wonder what the dealer gave him in trade on it for that ZO6...guarantee it wasn't anywhere near $75k. I thought the post would hurt it more than it did.

Good point Matt. I wonder what the original owner was thinking when he saw his car run through at 75K. It was cool to see all the documentation of the car including the bill of sale and the check the guy wrote to buy the car back in 1967.

It sure was pretty, My wife now thinks my car is worth a fortune..!...LOL

If that is setting the stage for pricing, I hope to see what the better car's ( weekend ) will bring price wise, hoping another 67 brings big bucks...That kind of money is normally for Judges. Even though that white one, didn't even come close.
They had some nice Pontiac's last night...The Grand Prix, the Safari Custom, etc.
I knew I had great taste in car's.....Just think if Shelby was to sign it, it would increase in price by another $50K....LOL

That car shot up to $75K in a matter of seconds. Maybe two years ago it would have gone into 6 figures. That car had everything the BJ buyer wants.....color, documentation, and low original miles. Sweet looking car!

You never want her thinking the car is worth as much as it is. Trust me.
