Default Pressure plate bolts

Should I use loctite on pressure plate bolts although they have lock washers?
Thank you

I always wire brush the bolts to get of all of the old Loctite, and then most of the time I reuse them.

I never have on any of my manual cars. But blue Loctite won't hurt a thing, IMO. Stay away from the red and green stuff, though!

Experiments have revealed that lock washers actually don't work, in fact can help the bolt loosen up! Here's one link: https://engineerdog.com/2015/01/11/1...out-fasteners/

There are other studies as well. I say use the locktite.

Thank you for that good article about fasteners. I may use that in class. I have a decent size data base of articles on fasteners. Good stuff.
