How rear are metal seat backs ??

I have found two sets when going to bone yards. I have only seen them on 67. I still have one set left over.

For the Camaro the change from metal backs to plastic was around mid-April 67. I'd guess if the Firebird did ever used metal backs the time frame would be the same (I never had a Firebird prior to May and it was plastic.
Pretty sure the seat back frames differ between metal & plastic. |

'67 'birds all came with plastic seat backs. Metal are from 'Maro's.

Thanks. I figured they were mainly Camaro. I picked up a set in really good shapre cheap at a garage sale. Figured I'd clean them up and use them on my 67 project. As for frames. They were all the basic frame for 67-9. With the exception of the added head rest. But the basic frames were the same.
