I am working through these suggestions and for my engine carbon build up on the pistons here is what didn't work.
Seafoam didn't affect the carbon Gasoline no affect Choke and carb cleaner helped a little Brake kleen no help WD 40 actually helped a little Oven cleaner says do not use on aluminum I can't find CRC Gasket remover any where locally on the shelf. I have not used, but I will be trying Transmission fluid Spray Nine There is a problem trying to work on this and keep the crums out of the piston gap between piston and cylinder. Thanks Greg |
