Default Flywheel?

Hi all.

Can someone please confirm with me that this flywheel is off a Pontiac V8 first up, so it will fit a 400/455 standard crank? Just want to confirm before I buy it. It is 13 1/4 diameter and 11 5/8 bolt hole centers. Number on the back is 9779233. See the pics.

Putting in in front of a 26 spline Muncie M20, so can you also confirm will this clutch fit that flywheel?

Thanks in advance.

its a pontiac part number
its dated june 15 1970
it fits the 10.5 " clutch

I dont see a bevel on the edge ...
and it looks like it needs another surfacing

It might be gettin a little thin ... and unsafe...

Thanks Scott. Agreed it will need a resurface, but where do I find the dimensions info so I know if its already too thin?

And thanks for the other info so I know it is the one I want.

Just buy a new one, it's not worth the risk using an old, unknown source for a flywheel.

The Pioneer, PRW, and Hayes SFI ones are fine. I've always used the Hayes ones, 30lbs for everything except 326/350s, then the 15lbs is fine.
