Default Help id'ing this trunk mat ( 2 piece)

Hi,

I bought this from a guy of CL in an original box but didn't write down manufacture, he told me it was for a 69 GTO but there is no way. I phoned Ames, they get their mat's from REM, I emailed REM they said no it's not their mat but kinda looks like a 69 cutlass mat.

Any ideas guys?

I'm making my rounds emailing the mat companies.

I got some great advice on trunk mats from HWYSTR455 who posts here under this name. He's a great guy and very helpful and knowledgeable.

Yeah, I can't tell, there's so many out there. I know the later ones are larger, and cover the whole floor pans. I use those on my 71 a-body, I like them better than the ones that stop under the spare.

Here's a pic of Ames 'stock" trunk mat for a 1969 GTO. May or may not be absolutely correct.
