There has been a lot of discussion of theft prevention of trailered cars and related.

What I would like to know is what you guys (and gals) do for theft prevention of a daily driver. What works well and what doesn't.

Thanks,
Jamie

Hey Jamie:

Might be obvious, but I bought one of those Brake Clubs to discourage stangers from test-driving my 69 GP. I use them in my daily drivers too.

The steering wheel club is easy to get around by cutting the wheel. This brake pedal device is mighty hard to break, even when you're not in a hurry. The lazy thieves, which seem to be in the majority, move on to easier targets.

Another thing I did with the old car was add a cut-off toggle switch to my safety neutral switch circuit. I won't say where it's hidden, but none of my buddies can find it.

Hope this gives you some ideas... - Poncho North

Hey Jamie:

You're welcome, and thanks for the stars!

I was starting to think maybe I wasn't star worthy, or perhaps I'm the only one who thinks my ideas are worth a ssss...tar.

Hope you come up with an anti-theft solution that works for your situation.--PN
