Though its not a Pontiac - It just struck a nerve. Was on a website and saw a dragster and trailer stolen in MD. Figured I'd link the site and maybe you guys can keep an eye out. I called the guy. Told him my story. He told me the dragster has a unique 4 link and a survey camara caught a black Suburban pulling the rig.

That friggin spanks man! Stealing a race car is like stealing someone elses imagination, there oughtta be a special place in he!! for those punks.
Paul, I sense a market demand for a civilian version of the "Boot" used by cities to lock the wheel of serious traffic offenders. Safe driving on T-Day, Matt

Paul- I especially like those "pager" alarms which don't wail and carry on like a wounded forestland creature..they page you. Then, you get the gun, call 911, and Make Someones Day! 8)

I have the pager alarm on my car. I almost shot my foot off once, getting out the door of my house.... while trying to load at the same time. I like the Lo-Jack situation. I think it's way safer, and much less combustible.

I leave the keys in my Mercedes, everywhere I go, hoping someone will "make my day". Oh, too bad it's gone...phew, no more black oil puddles.
But stealing someone's racecar is like stealing the Bat Signal...can only run&hide for so long.

Mitch, thats why I keep mine loaded all the time. I just need to take the trigger lock off.

What's a trigger lock?
That's why I have a Smith SW40C (Glock knockoff): always locked and loaded with one up the pipe and with a double action-only trigger. [This message has been edited by Scott Misus (edited 11-22-2001).] |

I keep my Beretta 9MM Compact close at hard at the house. I leave the chamber empty for safety. I keep the clip full of "black talons". My Sig Sauer P230 (.380) is filled with Hydro-Shocks. That's my car gun.

I found that my craftsman torque wrench worked well on a guy under the dash of my GP. The snapping sound was the guys knee and not the torque setting on the wrench. Guess I had the setting just right. It is stupid a**holes that forces us to spend money on security where we could spend it on more important things like slicks and headers!!!

The only good thief is a dead one. Maybe I'll call 911 after the thief is dead, maybe I won't, as I have better things to do with my time.
