Default '68 Hurst Dual Gate

I'm getting ready to install a '68 Hurst Dual Gate shifter into my '71 GTO with Turbo 400 and floor shift. Does anyone know if the stock shifer cable will work with the Dual Gate? Also, I'm looking for a driver quality top plate bezel and shift indicator in decent condition. Thanks, HS

The cables are the same so your current one will be fine.
