Can anyone provide a picture of the factory sound deadener/insulation glued to the metal support right behind the rear seat back? It's gone in my car and I'm beginning to research options for replacing it. Appreciate any help.

Yeah I think it's jute glued to the divider, don't think it's glued to the braces.

if my memory serves me, I have found tar paper taped to the rear divider;
I have heard mentioning of other stuff, but don't recall seeing anything else.

From what I can tell, originally the divider was made of jute insulation with a tar paper backing. Nowadays, the jute is glued to a cardboard backing. According to Melvin Benzaquen, the divider is installed with the jute facing the interior of the cabin. It does not appear to be glued to the sheetmetal, it just rests on the driveshaft tunnel and is held in place by the rear seat back.

Ok, so there's a mix of different types. Some were tar paper w juke (deluxe interior), some were just tar paper from what I can tell. At some point, they started using cardboard dividers with juke, but not sure if that's correct or not.
