Square was '68-72 and is reproduced. Round started in '73, but I don't know when it ended.

I believe the round was actually first introduced on the '72 350. At least that's what the 73 parts book indicates. And observationally, I believe '74s had them too and possibly '75 but I wouldn't swear to that.

Question for those that know, is it confirmed they had the lower tube like the earlier years?

yes on the lower tube on round heads its purpose is to take the PCV gasses to both plenum levels... a hole in the tube under threads for upper plenum and then end of tube is open and penetrates into lower plenum..

i am the person that removed the tube on my round head ( decades ago ) for use on a P4B intake which does not allow the double plenum PCV gas dispersal

the reason i asked about years is because i have never had a later model intake 1970 newest intake for me, west coast cars

hope you find one

Found one! Thanks everyone.

One question since this thread seems to be getting some views, were these painted or natural for '73?

I remember my '73s and '74s being painted.

Thanks. I had a pre '73 I grabbed years ago that was painted, but the '73 one I just found never looked like it had a drop of paint on it.
