Question Remote Control Battery Disconnect for 1996 Ford 250 with 7.3 Deisel

So, as the title says I'm trying to install a remote-control battery disconnect on the truck.
Most remote disconnects I've seen, provide only for a single battery.

Since the truck has 2 batteries, I understand that this truck has no real "primary" battery since they're in parallel.

Presently I have screw type disconnects on both batteries to disconnect current from flowing, but that has quickly become old hack and needs to be changed out.

My search so far has not presented a unit that will take care of 2 batteries.

Any ideas???

Question Why ?

Why ?

Theft deterrent ?
Does it have a short
in the electrical system
that is draining the batteries ?
Are you putting it into storage ?

Exclamation

Hi Jim,

I did have a short that was draining both batteries, but I figured it out and resolved that.
I did buy the screw disconnects to temporarily help with the batteries not draining until I could figure out what was happening, but now I'm looking to prevent any kind of theft.

I came across the remote disconnects and thought that it would work great until I realized that because how the batteries are wired in the truck, putting this remote disconnect on only 1 battery probably won't work.

I don't think installing 2 of these in the truck (1 for each battery) is the answer.
