It has been a long time since I have posted, but I have gotten my GA running and driving. A lot has happened since then. I changed direction on the interior. I was in the junkyard and came across a 2010 Honda CRZ. I loved the seats. I grabbed them for $60 on half price day. Long story short I fabricated the brackets and had them reupholstered. Here are some pics.

GA Interior PIctures
Here is the finished interior. I had the interior shop increase the bolstering on the bottoms and the sides. They are manual seats. Low tech but simple. Hurst logos on the seats and floor mats. Center console is from a 2012 Doge Challenger that I modified to fit. Love the cup holders and the phone slot. I had that wrapped in the same upholstery on the seats and door panels.

Yeah those seats were incredibly dirty when I got them but no damage . Super comfortable and a lot of lateral support for the corner carving.

When I attended SEMA IN 2016 I saw a number of vendors selling LED headlights. I liked the Vision X versions the most. I did a lot of research on LED's. I found a great website that test's a lot of these lights at headlightrevelution.com. I was not able to afford them, but just found them for a much lower price and decided to buy them. The Vision X brand has a very compact rear case which required no modification to the headlight bucket. The halo is optional so you can wire it or not which I like. They are DOT legal, and made in Washington state. Some of these LED lights don't really look correct on old cars but I really do like the way these look. I bought these purely for function at night not for the looks.

So after three years I was able to make it to a car show. I was lucky enough to be asked to be in the McLeod clutch booth since I have their dual disc set up and hydraulic t/o bearing.

Thanks guys. I am still working on a few minor things like the speedometer wiring, the back up lights need to be hooked into the reverse switch, etc. I was supposed to go to LS Fest West first weekend in May, but honestly it only has about 75 miles on it and I would rather not find out something is wrong in the middle of the desert, so not going to drive the GA. I am planning to drive it to Paso Robles in central California the last weekend in May for their big memorial day car show. That is 275 miles each way, so I have time to shake it down. I have an appointment for a dyno tune at Westech Automotive on April 30th. I will finally see how much the LS7 puts down. I am hoping for around 500 rwhp. I will shoot some video of that and try to post it here.

Stellar! That thing is off the charts!
Seats turned out fantastic, and 'fit' the theme/interior, as does the console, very nice! I forget now, did you make the air intake tube or is it for a particular application? .

Hopefully the link works. Video of the GA at a local car show last week 4/18. I had driven the car 10 miles the day before and then put about 50 miles on it total.

Upgraded Walbro Fuel Pump
Well after speaking with Westech Performance a few weeks ago to schedule an appointment for a chassis dyno session, I was informed that the Walbro 255 liter pump I had in the tank would not be adequate to feed the LS7. I ordered a new Walbro 485 liter pump. The customer service at Walbro was excellent. There was some modification required to the cage which they informed me of, but minimal. After installing the pump I turned the key and I thought it had no power. It's so quiet you can't hear it. Started it up and drove it a few miles, runs great. So now I will be off to Westech on Monday morning for the dyno session. Fingers crossed no issues.
