I hate to ask the obvious, but how do you add oil? DIY hole saw for a grommet and breather?

I've got a pair and am very pleased with them. The flange is thick and sturdy for a good seal, no warping if overtightened. I did take them to my machinist to have an oil filler hole drilled along with a hole for the -10 line for the vac pump.
If I needed another set, I'd buy them again faster than a speeding Poncho.

Bringing this back from the dead. I am in need of some valve covers and really like the fabricated valve cover look. The butler prices are out of control IMHO. And came across these eBay covers. I know breather holes and a fill hole needs to be added but overall how are you guys lining them? Sounds like 66bonne really likes them.

For anyone else that looks in this thread, what fabricated valve covers are you running and how do you like them?

I've had a set on my Firebird since 2014. I like them a lot especially for the price. I cut a couple holes in them to add grommets and breathers. They seal really nice with a set of TIP 5/16" rubber/steel gaskets.

Yes, I have a set, and love them. The set I have does scratch a little easy, but once you know, you can be careful.

Some of the expensive ones have a ceramic coating on them, and believe that may be why some cost more than others.

What would the Communist Chinese know about adding oil?

I'm glad to see people like these. I've been thinking about these, but have been afraid to pull the trigger. You can get them with holes pre-drilled now.

I can just see the instructions: "Making sure as all oil is full before install valve cover."

Of course they are universal and customizable but it is an amusing thought.

I've been eyeballing these for some time now. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pontiac-V8-326-455-Nostalgic-Polished-Aluminum-Finned-Tall-Valve-Covers-w-Hole/143876739439?epid=14029492118&hash=item217fb8d16f: g5cAAOSwL1tfznJf

Have 4 sets on 4 different cars. They work great. You can drill holes and add breathers, weld in an oil cap bung, weld in AN fittings for vacuum pump or remote breather tank. The tall ones need to be notched to clear a factory brake booster on a second gen f body. But for the price, you can't beat them

I used NeighborsComplaint's link to check out hid valve covers...NIce. But then I saw some that had more appeal to my taste:
