I can remember that feeling when my '64 went into primer back in 1993....

Hope to put these in high build primer tonight or tomorrow night. Thought that they were ready but they still need a little work. its been a long time since I touched them.

Looking great. That quarter panel looks a mile long in primer.

Like everything it took longer than I thought. Heat wave here and took side job to create some funds to keep moving on this heap.

Looking good...four-ish years into one myself. Hoping to be in epoxy and high build in the next few months. Keep at it - there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Next on the list is to get this primed. The bottom is already painted

Hood is primed. Will be digging the fenders out of storage next. They have already been worked and just need gone over.

Have one blocked and it seems pretty close. Back when I first did it I deemed it done but my ability and tolerance have changed with experience. Will need a little more filler work but not much.
You might see my reason for living (my granddaughter) in the background. Last edited by 72pontiac; 08-27-2020 at 08:26 AM. |

Fenders are rebody worked and blocked ready for high build. Stripped top and bottom of deck lid got body work done and primer/sealer on the bottom.
