Carter Universal Rotary Vane Electric Fuel Pumps P4602RV with Bypass Kit
I have a Carter electric fuel pump for sell with the bypass kit. This pump has very little use. The car only has 800 miles on it and it was only used for a few seconds when the car was started after it sat for a few weeks. I ran a high performance manual pump but I needed something to prime the lines when the car sat for a long time to help cut down on cranking time. I installed it with the bypass so the pump can be used to prime the line, act as a booster pump, or could be used as a backup in case the mechanical pump failed. I used a relay with a switch mounted under the dash to turn it off and on. You can run a wire from the oil pressure switch to turn it off when the engine dies to help prevent fires in case of a crash.
