If the wheels hadn't been on the car since the late 60's... I wouldn't have put them on. The patina on the wheels matches the patina on the car. I sent Grant a pic and told him to forward it to the original owner.

Great score.
Is the color of the car Champagne ? I did notice the smog equipment, obviously a Fremont car. Surprised after all these years that is still on the car. IIRC, California cars had the smog equip starting in '66. The reason I asked about the color, is my '67 is Champagne, and I have only seen a handful in that color. Mine is Champagne/Parchment(Pontiac Plant) Very happy you were able to get this car into your collection Have fun.
