I found one. There is only one small problem. The nearest dealer is in England!

I am still waiting on mine that were supposed to be available in September. I am going to e-mail the company to see what is going on.

I called the company today and they can't give me a shipment date. They are still on back order at Wix. I will give them another month before I cancel my order.

Have you checked around at the other usual places? I was looking for several things over the past couple of months, and a lot of things were out of stock or not even listed (e.g., on Rockauto). I've noticed that several of the parts I've been searching for are reappearing lately.

Good luck!

I was just on one of the Corvette forums and saw a post that said he had reached out to WIX to get a date on the 42100 air filter production and was told a run of that filter was probably not going to happen.

I just got two of these today from this vendor. Very good quality. $39 each plus shipping. I have 3 cars that use this filter. The last one I bought was a Wix for $11. That was 3 or 4 years ago. If you want to run the pancake cleaner assembly, no other options. I wish K&N would make one. This element fits Corvettes as well as GTO's.

I bought one myself. Quality is there except it's only 11.5 inch diameter and does not sit flush with the base. It's advertised as 12" ID. I contacted Mann+Hummel myself about the Wix 42100. Just heard back this morning. "The 42100 part number is currently on backorder with no release date ETA" was the response.

Years ago I purchased several new in the box AC A350C air filters and they fit like a glove.
It’s a shame that so many aftermarket automotive items just don’t fit as they should.

Love those chrome louvered air cleaners that were available on the ‘65-‘66 GTO’s, plus the ‘67 with a different base.
The Original screen to support the foam filter when new.

I still have a brand new A350C that I paid $11 for about 8 or 10 years ago. And am running usable A350C's in my '61 Corvette, '66 GTO, and '67 GTO. Agree the pancake filter is pretty unique. If you include the '61 and '62 Corvettes and the GTO's, a LOT of cars need these filter elements. The one in my '67 only seems to go about 10,000 miles between replacements. Which means about every 3 years.

Thumbs down Close but No Cigar

Since I'm running low on A350C and there seems to be a shortage for reasons unclear, I decided to try these generic box filters on ePay.

Big Thumbs Down.
Not wide enough.
Too Tall.

A rough measure of the EO OHC 6 base, should be the same on the GTO base.

Nameless Filter;

Another aftermarket letdown, Sad this is what we have to deal with

IMHO Wix was the best.
Wix not only has a near-correct I.D. it fits the lid far better, even better the the AC filter.

The Mexican A350C;

The one positive is that these recent offerings will work on the '67 base I'm using, still too tall for the lid but the seal is better due to the different contour of the base. So not all is lost.

I ordered one of these as well. I haven't requested a refund from the other place; maybe one day I'll get a surprise in the mail lol

If you ordered one of those off EPAY you're likely not going to be happy,
per my review above.

I have set up several "notify when available" alerts on different websites, but nothing so far. I last bought a filter from Ames in 2014, but I've only driven my GTO about 4,500 miles since I installed that filter, so it should be OK for a while.

Yeah, I ordered it after seeing your review. For the last several years, I've had a much smaller diameter filter on my car, so this is much closer to correct than what I had. And it's not visible when installed, so I'm satisfied.
