66 GTO A/ C blower motor
When the ignition switch is on,should the blower motor be running at slow speed ?

If the switch on the dash is OFF, the blower should not run, at least it doesn't on a '67. '66 should be same.

On my '67 w/ AC, if the ignition switch is ON, the fan should run only IF the controls are not set to OFF. If they are set to heat, AC, or vent, the fan should run.

later on it was a safety feature to run the fan at a low speed to keep air moving in the passenger compartment
