Default 66 GTO kick panels

Does any one have a picture of a picture of what a 66 GTO non air kick panel looks like. I picked up a pair on evilbay a while back and they fir like crap. They have the vent and cable in them. Problem is where the cable goes to the flapper it is thick in that area so the panel can't sit flat against the metal panel as it is pretty much flat, I see used oem kick panels on evilbay but I do see the vent portion nor anywhere for the cable. I would like to see a oem kick panel and why the oem ones I see have no vent or a provision for a cable? What years fit a 66 GTO non air car? I was under the impression most A bodies were the same 65 to 67.

Upon a little more research I am noticing that some cars have the kick panel vent and cable incorporated all together and it seems there is the style that the vent is separate then there is a cable and bracket separate and the kick panel is separate. So what is a 66 Pontiac GTO non air supposed to have? If it is the later I may be in the market for the vents and cables.

Per the Paul Zararine Pontiac GTO Restoration Guide, the 1966 GTO kick panels had the external cable & vent on non A/C cars. The 1967 GTO had the knob and cable assy mounted in the panel itself. A/C cars had no provision for vents on the kick panel

My car started out life as a non A/C car and to the best of my knowledge the attached pic of my panel is OEM.

Thank you for that info. I never had the originals and I found some pretty decent ones on evilbay advertised for 64/67 A body GTO's etc. I still see some advertised that way but obviously there is a difference. My kicks had the speakers in them which interfere with the e-brake.

IIRC it's '65-'66 with separate cable/vent assembly, with '67 having it incorporated into the kick panel.
I believe AMES offers both.

Thank you Guys. And I still see them advertised by a couple sellers on ebay 64-67 when the 67 is different. I would never have thought 67 would differ as the cars are so similar. Live and learn.

Im guessing the change was to increase ease of installation and shave some costs

I don't know. I got the left side on but it was a hell of a fight and it fit like crap.
