We Have a air cleaner issue on a new motor we have no clearance so can you post your different air cleaner set ups so we can get an idea on what we can do or what it will look like . Currently running a low aircleaner with twin outlets wrapped around the motor looking for room and cold air .

Do you have a carb?

I almost bought a late 80s Firebird convertible with a carbed 305, supposedly it was a police or HD package, anyways, the air cleaner looked like regular black carb air cleaner with a single heat riser

it looked like this

is there another vacuum port to use?

maybe you can plug that back vac port and install a T-fitting in another vac port so you can then manifold it out?
