89 TPI egr
My neighbor is working on an 89 T/A....5.7 TPI.
Cannot locate an EGR that will clear the underside? of plenum... I suggested a block off,instead. Will this affect any critical engine manage systems?

We had a faulty EGR valve on a 1990 Formula 350. We unhooked the lead and the only drawback was the Check Engine Light it regularly triggered.

In 89, the egr has a temp sensor on the side of it.
My 89 formula 350 has not had the A.I.R. egr temp sensor and egr solenoid unplugged for 25 yrs and never had a check engine light for them. those are not monitored just on and off switches and won't trigger a light. Also unplugged the knock sensor, no light. (can't do that on 90-92 cars)
