Default 2015 Pontiac Southern Nationals

The Pontiac Southern Nationals is back at Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison, Texas for 2015. Once again we are holding our event in conjunction with the Fall Fly Days held at the museum.

This year the PSN will be on Saturday, October 10th.

The PSN will be unique; it’s always been an all Pontiac show, but once again this year the Pontiacs will be sharing the spotlight with vintage Planes! The PSN Pontiacs will be parked in and around a Cavanaugh hangar; the Planes will be on display on the grounds.
Here is just part of the schedule for Fall Fly Days: Aircraft formation flybys, Aircraft Carrier operation demonstration, Sherman Tank demo, Warbird Rides, Troop Transport rides – and that’s not all, the list goes on!
We are also pleased to announce that famous Pontiac Historian and Author Rocky Rotella will be providing a seminar or two on Saturday during the event.

The PSN Flyer is attached. Please print and mark your calendars, and feel free to forward to your Pontiac Buddies. Additional PSN details and updates are available on our website www.dapa.org

We will also offer a second show for all American branded cars, trucks and motorcycles the next day on Sunday, October 11th at the same location.

The past few years we have not held a separate PSN race, but instead teamed up with the TMCCC and raced in that series as part of the PSN weekend. There is not a scheduled TMCCC race this year on the same weekend, but that is always subject to change.

Wanted to do this last year. We came several years ago and I love Warbirds!! Will definitely make the effort to come up this year and I'll see if I can get some of our club members to go as well.

Well, chit. Had I known Rocky would be there I'd have shown up just to heckle.

I'm sure he did a wonderful job.

Next year, if I can get some new paint on the old bird.

It was a great show! Thanks again to the DAPA crew. Sam and I cruised up there in the 68. This year he was more taken with the planes than the cars. We rode in the back of an old military truck down to the end of the runway and watched several planes land and take off. We enjoyed the cars as well. I didnt get to take as many photos as I like to but I did get some of the first gens. I was honored to receive the gold award in my class.

Just wanted to say good job to all that helped put together this year's car show. The combination of Pontiacs and war birds turned out great.
