This bracket or part is for dash part # 10013086 Firebird W/ air 1980-81 Says on online parts lookup I / P insl Pnl Mt. Think under dash maybe gauge cluster.n

Mounts off the fuse panel, hanging off the underside in this shot. Perhaps the plug slides onto it to hold it out of the way.

the clip holds the drivers air vent in, shown here on the inside looking out. Pull the spring retainer, and the swivel section is allowed to lift up and out of the surround.

Great pic of the clip on the vent Aus78! I didn't know that one.

Here are pics of the angle bracket screwed to the left lower corner of the fuse panel, using the screw that holds the fuse panel to the firewall. This little bracket is used if you are using a "hush" panel above your pedals. The hush panel would screw to the bracket in that corner, as seen in the drawing. And the hush panel also screws to a hole in the upper part of the gas pedal mount, and the a/c duct that runs under the steering column.

maybe if I actually looked the drawing . It mounts some plastic covers under the steering wheel
