It runs! I ended up having to install a new distributor than the one that was on there. I'm not sure what was wrong with it, but it looked like the wiring was a bit damaged and might have fried the module or something. I pulled a known good HEI out of my stash and installed it, got timing close and it fired right up. I still need to set timing and hook up the exhaust, but it runs!

well, got the timing set where I like it for now, still not great because there is no cooling system in the car yet and I don't want it run it too long, but it fires right up and idles.
Going to try and put a cooling system together and have a driveshaft made next week. |
