Default Nice Summer Day for a Car Show Down Under

Attended a car show today that actually had a good of a selection of Pontiacs. Normally you don't see even a quarter of what was here today. They are coming out of the woodwork. Nice bright sunny day but not good for photo taking. Here are some photos that were half decent. There are a few interior shots of Pontiacs that were converted to RHD.

Thanks for the pics. Surprised to see so many of the Pontiacs with right hand drive, especially the Gran Prix and Bonneville.

Looks like a factory conversion; or would this have been an aftermarket modification back in the day?

Very cool selection

Do you really think it's numbers matching all original?"

Thanks for the pics.
There must a lot of work to convert an old car from left hand drive to right hand drive?? Looks to be custom fabrication to make it work or do they usually use part from right hand drive stuff??

That G/P is odd I was thinking it was a 4 speed but no clutch pedal. The other thing is the power window switches you have control of all 4 windows on both doors.

Unless there was a Canadian equivalent vehicle they got parts off, these custom conversions that were done by shops that specialized in this sort of work. These have basically all gone out of business as the law changed quite a while ago allowing LHD cars to be road registered without conversions.

Good pick up. Did not notice that when taking the pics.
