Default 1960s Drag Racing Documentary - "Seven Second Love Affair" streaming on Amazon

Hi everybody,

I recently watched a great documentary on drag racing. It follows a fuel rail team from So.Cal. c. 1963/64? Quite a bit of footage from Lions and a couple other tracks. Some great video and awesome sound.

Anyone else catch this? If not, check it out.

("I'll stick with stamps and coins"...hahaha...you'll laugh if you watch it.)

Watched it the other night. Pretty good, nice to see some old stuff.

Best thing about it? They never sat around blaming someone else for anything. They were racers. They took responsibility for everything they did and didn’t do. When something went wrong they fixed it, they didn’t point a finger at someone else. Seems like now everyone wants to blame someone else when something’s not right.
It’s racing! Take responsibility for yourself or go collect stamps!

That guy had some of the greasiest white trousers I've ever seen. I didn't realize it but after he stopped driving he went on to become the official NHRA starter for many years.

Finally got to watch this last night. Excellent video! Reminds me so much of the guys my dad hung out with at that time in Columbus Indiana.

Loved how the whole family supported him. The shop truck was cool!
