Ruebens, Paul Ruebens. Children's entertainer.

And a complete degenerate. Masturbating in theaters.
Avid collector of "innocent art". Naked minors engaged
in erotic acts. But he maintained that he wasn't a pedo.

Quote:
Reubens later stated that he was a collector of erotica, including films, muscle magazines, and a sizable collection of mostly homosexual vintage erotica,[2] such as photographic studies of teen nudes.[30] Reubens said that what the city attorney's office viewed as pornography he considered to be innocent art, and that what they described as people underage engaged in masturbation or oral copulation was, in fact, a judgmental point of view. Reubens described the nude images as people "one hundred percent not" performing sexual acts.[30]

I remember him from a Cheech & Chong movie where they had some marijuana that was making people slowly turn into lizards.
PeeWee was an escapee from a mental ward and played the part well.

Think it was the first time I had ever heard of him.
Might have been his first big break . idunno

I first remember him as the Waiter in the original Blues Brothers Movie, but I am sure he had other roles before that.
One of my older nieces used to be addicted to Pee Wee's Play house. We could not watch anything else in that time slot!

This is how I think of him too and I group him with the other pervert entertainers like Micheal Jackson and Bill Cosby. But because I believe in forgiveness I try and let that be the Lords job and not judge them(not easy for me to do, but I try) that way I can sort of still enjoy the talented work they produced in their lifetime.

Have you heard Bill Cosby’s stand up routine where he talks about buying a Shelby Cobra. I wish he was able to have been a better person, because he sure is a talented entertainer.

My wife loves MJ songs, I always had trouble listening to them, then the creepy news started coming out about MJ and I couldn’t stand any of his songs . Now I find one or two of them are OK when they play on the radio.

Took the name after a PeeWee Harmonica, supposed a favorite toy of his.

Well, the "pied piper" has a story too, and then thoughts connect all too quick for the informed person to conclude that he wasn't a Pontiac enthusiast.

I've moved to that general position on MJ and a few others.

The childlike character was quite something and I actually enjoyed the playhouse in small doses. First movie was fun too.

Usually, smoke = fire. Not gonna take this convo any farther.

200 MPH. His "dual everything" bit was actually an
accurate depiction of the Super Snake (1 of 2 built)

Ruebens career took a big hit after that theatre incident. I have to say after seeing the mugshot and everything, that I never looked at him or his character the same way.
