Default 69 Automatic Firebird Console Cover

Looking for the large front wood grain panel that fits under the 3 speed automatic shifter plate. Previous owner drilled a few extra holes in it and would prefer to keep the original wood grain as my other 3 pieces (shifter plate, console lid and ashtray delete) are in great shape and I don't want to recover all 4 pieces.

I've got one I believe is in good shape, but does have holes toward back for 8-track mount. Also have auto shifter plate.

Mine looks like Swiss cheese, not sure what all was mounted on mine throughout the years. I too have the 8 track player also although I'm sure it doesn't work. Planned to mount gauges there anyway so could possibly hide the holes. Can you send a picture to craigbogus@aol.com and I'll see if it will work. I have plenty of shifter plates. Thanks.

I have one, but it is out of a convertible and I think it is somewhat discolored. No holes in it but if I remember correctly it has about a 1 inch slit in the wood grain. Definitely not show quality, but it would probably work on a driver.

Hi Craig, the snow has subsided enough for me to make my way to the hay barn. (Drifts are/were over six feet deep). I know I have a few up in the loft. I will get up there this weekend and report back to you. I will PM you my phone number to give me a call when you have some free time.

Tried the stick on vinyl, doesn't cut it. Still looking for this piece.

I have a pretty nice complete 68-69 Deluxe Interior Automatic Console.
Have not looked at it in a while.
Wouldn't want to separate anything - but would make a fair price on it complete.
Could check it out if you might be interested.
I'm in the middle of NC below Greensboro.

Default console piece

I think I have a couple of the pieces you are looking for. They would more than likely need to have the new burlwood laminate put on. Let me know if you are interested and I will take a look at what I have.

blue bayou, I've tried the laminate/vinyl coverings. Mine were a PITA and nearly impossible to put on properly so I gave up on that route. I'd love to see what you do have. I only need the biggest piece of woodgrain. The console lid and ashtray cover are fine. Sent you a PM.
