Default ""Chrome" paint

I thought I remembered a thread where a member told how Rustoleum "chrome" paint did not hold up to washing/rubbing/etc. But now I cannot find such a thread.
Anyhow... I've found that letting the Rustoleum dry well (a week or so) and then spraying one heavy coat of Eastwood's Diamond Clear enamel over it works well- can be washed, rubbed, etc. The clear makes for even less chrome-look, but it's useful for some things.
