Jim, I have a set of belts but am not sure what is deluxe for 71. Are deluxe with the metal buckles? Mine are plastic.

Deluxe Belts
This is the what Deluxe Seat Belts look like in a 69-71 A-body which is Tempest, Lemans, GTO series cars, I've seen them in G and B-body as well, which are Grand Prix and full-size cars.Note the bright metal buckle and specific retractor. I need black color.They are prone to rust, I need nice rustfree ones.

Todd, you might open your search up to nice '69-71 A-G deluxe black belts. The chances of finding a really nice set of '71's with tags that predate your LeMans build by a few weeks is fairly small. I went through this on nice black deluxes for the backseat of the Engr car. Previous owner had thought it wise to just remove the rear belts, they were MIA. was fortunate to find some later 71's & am about to have correct dated tags made for them.

PB, thanks but...Do a search on this site of that ebay seller!! I would really like to find good used originals, not 'remanufactured' and from a good seller. Roger, you're right, any 69-71 belt will work and I will post ads in the big-car section as well.

jim i thought i had you covered. went up in the attic and found the set i pulled off a 71 grand prix 2 years ago. however...i guess not all grand prixs had deluxe because these belts have the plastic buckles. they are in very good shape for original and date 05a71 on the fronts and 07a71 on the rears . anyway good luck on your search
