Default 68 GTO Brake Light Switch

After 20 years I'm reinstalling the clutch and brake pedals and I'm having problems lining up the brake light switch to the brake pedal.
Switch bracket is in the correct position according to the service manual.
Only change is I'm adding a cruise control / brake light switch.

Can anyone provide a few photos of the switch bracket and pedal arrangement?

Sometimes the answer is staring you in the face.

Somehow over the last twenty years the bracket got bent. That and a couple glasses of wine makes you see things from a different perspective.
A quick press in the vise and all is well.
