Default gtp trans problems

Anyone have a 4t65e hd transmission for sale, or know of any wear to buy a decent one. Local shops want a fortune to rebuild. Thanks for your help.

I was able to score one at a salvage yard. Buicks had them too. I was quoted 1900-2400 to rebuild mine with me doing the R & R. I found one with 56k for 350. almost 10k on it w/o any issues. Its not too bad to switch. You do need to drop the cradle so replace any suspension items while your are at it.
